Facebook seems to be adding comments nearly everywhere. First they added them to mini-feed, then newsfeed. Now they’ve added comments to the ads in news feed.
I whole-heartedly agree with this move. Philosophically it’s along the same lines of SocialMedia’s goals for advertising: Create more effective ads through more meaningful social interaction. Coincidentally, those of you lucky enough to spot the ads saw SocialMedia has been advertising Tropic Thunder through our Social Banners. The banners ask users to compare their friends against cast members and lead to a trailer for the movie and mini-quiz.
