“I left Social Media Business School with actionable information for my startup”

The title of this post is a quote from Pete Mauro, the co-founder of SceneTag, after our Social Media Business School at the Viceroy hotel in Los Angeles (SceneTag is a stealth startup). 84 other attendees coming from agencies, independent development, and the press made a showing at the all day conference.

The event was a day of lectures educating developers and agencies on how you can make applications work for you on social networks. The topics ranged from analytics and design, to experiences from big names like Disney and Sony or Experian’s knowledge of CPA offers on the networks. But it all boiled down to real numbers from analytics gurus and real advice for brands and developers looking to improve their social networking real estate.

Look for the next events in New York and London. Ticket prices double at the door, so sign up soon.

Let me know if L.A. wants more developer events by comment or email.
